How can GUMA help me grow?
GUMA's entire mission is to help local entrepreneurs create a successful and self-sustaining business, whether that be with products or services. Our grant opportunities are available for those who have become a GUMA Certified business.
How do I become a GUMA Certified Business?
In order to become a GUMA Certified business, you must complete either the I Bisinun Mami Program or Training and Mentoring Program and obtain a Business License.
How can I get Grant Funding?
After completing the I Bisinun Mami and/or Training & Mentoring Program, the next step would be our Grant Funding Programs. To learn more, click here.
What's the difference between the programs?
I Bisinun Mami is catered specifically for home-based businesses. GUMA is working with the Mayors Council of Guam to assist home-based businesses in growing as well as creating a Village Resource Directory to better expose these businesses to more customers. GUMA will also be hosting Village Trade Fairs for our vendors.

The Training & Mentoring Program is for both home-based businesses and small businesses. This approximately sixteen-week program goes more in depth about the legalities, finances, etc. of running a small business.

I Bisinun Mami graduates have the opportunity to apply for up to $3,000.00 in Micro Grant funds, whereas Training & Mentoring Program graduates can apply for $20,000.00+ through the Incubation Program grants.
